Season 2 of “The Voice” Promotional Duties

Season 2 of “The Voice” Promotional Duties is schedule to air for the premiere right after the Super Bowl. Tonight the judges of the show Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton all joined together at the press junket in Culver City, California to promote the show. They were also joined by the host of the show as well, Carson Daly. They spoke about how excited they were for this season of the hit NBC singing competition show.

During the press conference Aguilera was asked why she decided to return for another season, she responded, “I had to come back and do a second season. How could I not? This is the most exciting show ever! The suspense value? It’s intense. I think I get more nervous in these blind auditions than the actual artists and vocalists that come up here to audition. It’s nerve wracking and exciting.”

Aguilera also shared that fans should expect a lot more in this season, “I have everyone from an opera singer to an MC. It’s amazing and then, of course, I have my powerhouse, crazy, soulful vocalists that blow you away. It’s an exciting year for diversity.”

In other news the bitter Kelly Osbourne continues to talk smack about Aguilera. During a recent episode of E!’s “Fashion Police” the once overweight Osbourne decided to continue calling Aguilera fat. Osbourne stated, “She called me fat for years. I was never that fat.” Seriously, Osbourne has to be kidding. That chick was definitely on the heavy side and was at least 10 times bigger than Aguilera ever was.

Osbourne has lost weight, but her face is still fat, so she definitely shouldn’t be talking about anyone’s weight. She needs to calm down on hating on Aguilera. It is truly becoming tiring. George Kostsiopoulos from the show added, “I’m looking at this and thinking, ‘Well, she’s put on weight. This just isn’t flattering.’ But this is just a crappy outfit, regardless. No matter what shape your body is in, it’s just bad.”

The children took to the stage dressed in outfits reflecting Michael Jackson’s career and were greeted by rapturous applause. Blanket looked stunned by the noise and the lights but the elder two looked at ease on the stage. Paris wore a Thriller jacket, Prince donned a leather jacket reminiscent from the Bad era of the eighties, while Blanket recaptured the Smooth Criminal outfit in a black jacket and tie, teamed with a red shirt and arm band to match. They introduced a performance by Beyonce, who appeared via videolink from the US to play the Jackson Five hit I Wanna Be Where You Are.

“She is always pushing the envelope with her boundless energy and talent. She carries the torch lit by our father and it gives me great pleasure to introduce this woman.”-Michael Jackson’s daughter said, while introducing Beyonce during the tribute concert.

Paris and Prince Michael joined in with the singing although Blanket again looked uneasy on stage, standing motionless with his hands in his pocket. The children joined family and the showbiz elite to celebrate Michael Jackson’s life with the tribute concert in Cardiff but not all of the singer’s sibling attended the show. Tito, Marlon, Jackie and La Toya all performed at the concert, while Jermaine, Randy and Janet were missing.

Michael Jackson’s tribute concert in Cardiff was hosted by Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx with Fearne Cotton. The king of pop died in June 2009, aged 50, as he was preparing for his epic comeback shows in London.
