Johnny Depp’s The Lone Ranger shut down

We won't be seeing Johnny Depp in Disney's adaptation of 'The Lone Ranger'. The movie being too expensive is shut down.

Disney’s much-anticipated big-screen adaptation of the western classic ‘The Lone Ranger’ starring Johnny Depp has been shut down according to industry reports.

The studio reportedly has stopped the production over problems with reducing the movie’s estimated $250m (£154m) cost. Johnny Depp was to play the Lone Ranger’s sidekick Tonto with Armie Hammer playing the lead role as the masked avenger.

Jerry Bruckheimer had been lined up to produce the film, with Pirates of the Caribbean director, Gore Verbinski behind the camera.

The Lone Ranger, movie about a cowboy battling injustice in the Old West, was first aired on the radio in the US in the 1930s and became a popular TV series running from 1949 to 1957.

This is not the first time Disney has shut down a major project due to cost. Earlier this year they did the same for a 3D re-make of The Beatles film ‘Yellow Submarine’ due to costs involved.

Johnny Depp was likely to earn his usual £15m for starring in The Lone Ranger, and also a percentage of any profits in line with his deal for playing Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean films.

Johnny Depp would have been perfect for the role of Tonto.

Two and A Half Men: Charlie Harper’s death revealed!

Two And A Half Men says goodbye to Charlie Harper in a funeral scene

The death of Two and a Half Men’s character Charlie Harper is finally revealed. The womanizer dies in Paris hit by a subway train.

This is how it goes:

Charlie Harper married Rose, (Melanie Lynskey) the neighbor/stalker he flew to Paris with last season, but things went downhill quickly when she found him in the shower with another woman.

In the episode, Rose speaks at the funeral and recounts Charlie’s death … saying the day after the shower incident she and Charlie were waiting for a Paris subway when Charlie “slipped” and the subway literally blew him apart in a “meat explosion.”

The strong inclination was that Rose pushed him and got away with it.

The creator of  Two and a Half Men Chuck Lorre, reportedly considered several death scenarios, including having Charlie drive off a cliff, but he settled on a bloody subway accident.

During the episode of Charlie Harper’s death, Ashton Kutcher will make his début performance in Two and a Half Men as internet billionaire Walter Schmidt, who ends up buying Charlie Harper’s Malibu beach house.

Celebrity guest stars, Jenny McCarthy and John Stamos, will make appearance in the episode as well.

Don’t miss the epic episode of  Two and a Half Men ( Charlie Harper’s death), September 19.

Maybe the neighbour/stalker Rose, has caused Charlie Harper's death in Two and a Half Men
