Officially married: Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed.

On October 1, Gene Simmons married longtime girlfriend Shannon Tweed in front of 400 guests in Beverly Hills. The KISS bass player, 62, proposed to his Playboy Playmate girlfriend, 54, with a 24-carat diamond on the finale of the couple’s reality series in July.

Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed have been together for 28 years and have two children together, Nick, 22, and Sophie, 19. The bride wore a beautiful ivory Priscilla of Boston gown and carried ivory garden roses down the isle. Guests included Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and Bill Maher, KISS guitarist Paul Stanley and many others. Their children, Nick and Sophie, were the best man and maid of honor respectively.

Their first dance was to Etta JamesAt Last, performed by their daughter Sophie. During Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed’s lovely reception, every member of the family took the microphone to entertain the crowd. Nick wowed the crowd with his rendition of the Doors song, Roadhouse Blues, accompanied by Paul Stanley’s son Evan on guitar.

Gene Simmons, who claims to have slept with over 2,000 women,proposed to Shannon Tweed, while they were on holiday in Belize this July. All the best to the (finally) married couple.
